Earlier this week a friend came out to San Francisco for Facebook's Developer conference. The two of us caught a Giants game and I was able to check out AT&T Park. I've gotta say, not only was it awesome to catch up with Mike, but the park lived up to the hype. It's gorgeous, the food was great, and it's probably the best park I've been to weather-wise.

While it's awesome to see people from home, it definitely still makes me semi-home sick. Regardless, it makes me realize that while I might miss home, coming out to San Francisco was an opportunity for me that I would have regretted not taking. It's more or less set me on the path I worked so hard to get on.

So, if you've been working hard for something and an opportunity comes up, take the risk. Working hard for a goal pays off and who knows, you could end up playing video games for a living. It doesn't get better than that folks.
